Postdoctoral Fellow in Polymer Chemistry: The Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN) at the University of Queensland is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow specializing in Polymer Chemistry. This is a full-time, fixed-term position for up to 12 months, aimed at conducting pioneering research in polymer chemistry for environmental remediation.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Completion or near completion of a PhD in polymer or organic chemistry.
  • An emerging profile in research within the fields of chemistry and materials science and engineering.
  • Publications in reputable refereed journals.
  • Experience presenting at conferences.
  • Evidence of contributions towards obtaining external research funding.

Job Description

  • Research: Establish and manage a research program, collaborate on projects, and publish results in reputable journals.
  • Supervision and Researcher Development: Supervise and mentor students, manage research staff, and facilitate their professional growth.
  • Citizenship and Service: Engage in partnerships, provide leadership through mentoring, participate in internal committees, and uphold university values.
