Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in meta-science, science of science, STS, psychology, sociology, research methodology/statistics, philosophy of science, information science, or related discipline.
- Methodological expertise in policy analysis, survey research, quantitative analysis, scientometrics, or stakeholder co-creation.
- Advanced proficiency in R and Python for statistical and corpus analysis.
- Ability to conduct high-quality academic research with demonstrable outputs.
- Team player who enjoys coaching Masterโs students.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects to completion.
- Excellent written and verbal proficiency in English.
Job Description
The postdoctoral researcher will engage in a collaborative meta-science project that addresses several key questions regarding the sharing of research data and code. Responsibilities include:
- Mapping existing institutional policies on data and code sharing.
- Examining researchersโ attitudes and practices towards sharing.
- Identifying features of institutional policies that promote greater adoption of sharing practices.
- Collaborating with researchers, data stewards, and policymakers to develop improved, evidence-based policy frameworks.
This position offers opportunities for significant contributions to research with direct policy relevance and supports the evolution of Open Science practices at the institutional level.
