Applications are invited for a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship at IIT Hyderabad’s Centre of Clean Coal Energy & Net Zero (CLEANZ). The position, focused on gasification of high ash coal in bubbling fluidized bed gasifiers, lasts 11 months with potential extension. A fellowship of 58,000-67,000 plus HRA is available for fresh Ph.D. graduates or those with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry, preferably with Scopus publications and excellent academic records. - Project 2: Strong expertise in Li-ion battery chemistry, coal-processing, and electrochemical testing
- Desirable skills:
- Strong expertise in designing electrode materials and conducting experiments
- Expertise in material characterization and electrochemical studies
- Good understanding of battery working, electrode design, coin-cell & pouch cell fabrication, testing, material upscaling, and translational research
- Prior experience or interest in translational battery research would be an added advantage
