• PhD, preferably in molecular microbiology but other related fields will be considered
• strong English written and oral communication skills
• ability to work as a part of a collaborative team
• previous experience supervising undergraduate and/or graduate students
• track record of first author, peer-reviewed publications
Job/Position Description- A post-doctoral position is available immediately to study molecular mechanisms of envelope stress adaptation in Escherichia coli and their role(s) during colonization and infection. Successful applicants will use genetics, biochemistry, molecular biology, chemical biology, and/or model organism studies to investigate the ways in which envelope stress responses are activated and mediate adaptation during colonization, infection, and transmission of E. coli.
