- The successful applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree in materials, chemistry, physics, mechanical engineering, or a closely related field.
- The selected candidate will synthesize and design glassy amorphous electrolytes, test their mechanical properties and characterize their structure.
- Limited teaching within the area can be expected, but also in other study programmes at the University.
- The position is assigned to the project Preventing Micro-Cracks in Amorphous Solid-State Electrolytes for Batteries.
- Department of Chemistry and Bioscience provides cutting-edge research and teaching in biotechnology, biology, environmental science, chemistry and chemical engineering.
- Excellent oral and written English language skills are a requirement.
- Documented experience within at least one of the following fields is also a requirement: structure of amorphous materials, mechanical properties of amorphous materials, battery materials, and x-ray/neutron diffraction or imaging.
