Postdoctoral Positions at Chandar Lab: The Chandar Lab at Mila, the Quebec AI Institute, is inviting applications for four postdoctoral positions. Eligibility/Qualification
- Completion (or imminent completion) of a PhD in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models, or Foundation Models.
- A strong publication record in renowned international conferences (ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, etc.).
- Interest in mentoring master’s and PhD students across research projects.
- Demonstrated capacity to initiate and lead research projects and teams.
- Experience in pre-training Transformers and LLMs is essential.
Job Description
The selected candidate will be expected to:
- Lead, publish, and present research projects in their chosen area of focus.
- Collaborate with and mentor graduate students.
- Engage in and lead grant applications to support ongoing research activities.
