Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in evolutionary ecology or related field (or close to completion)
  • Experience in data collection from complex systems and fieldwork
  • Strong analytical skills for data analysis and modeling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse research team

Job Description:

Postdoctoral Research Assistant – Ecology and Evolution of Apex Predators

As a Postdoctoral Research Assistant, you will:

  • Analyze existing data and gather new experimental data
  • Parameterize models of freshwater ecosystems in Trinidad and Yellowstone National Park
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and apply innovative methods for analyzing ecological data
  • Conduct fieldwork in Trinidad and Tobago, Yellowstone National Park, and Australia
  • Contribute to computer simulations informed by collected data and analyses
  • Work primarily at the University of Oxford under the guidance of Professor Tim Coulson
