Job Description: As a Research Fellow in Equine Microbiota, you will:
- Lead the analysis of metagenomic sequence data to identify candidate probiotic bacteria
- Perform selective culture from equine faecal samples
- Conduct phenotypic and genotypic characterization of candidate bacteria
- Contribute to research enhancing the health of racehorses through microbiota manipulation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and industry partners for project success
- Participate in discussions, meetings, and knowledge-sharing activities
