National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM-Kundli), Haryana, India invites applications for Research Associate Position at NIFTEM from eligible and interested candidates
About- NIFTEM (National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management) invites applications for one contractual position of Research Associate (RA), with total emoluments of ₹58,000/- plus HRA. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Food Technology or related fields and possess at least one year of experience in food processing, regulation, or quality. Desirable qualifications include expertise in the nutraceutical sector and policy-making related to food safety. The maximum age limit is 35 years, with relaxations applicable. Applications must be submitted by 10.11.2026 via email, along with required documents. Incomplete applications will be rejected, and NIFTEM reserves the right to modify or cancel the recruitment process.

Eligibility/Qualification–
| Essential Qualifications & Experience | Ph.D. in Food Technology, Food Technology & Management and Food and allied Sciences, including Basic Sciences relevant to Food Science with a minimum of one (01) year of experience in the areas of food processing, food regulation, and/or food quality. |
| Desirable | Proven expertise or exposure of nutraceutical sector, food safety and food adulteration awareness initiatives, food-processing policies, and issues related to ultra-processed foods. Further, experience/expertise in the area of capacity building, preparing policy or scheme draft would be any added advantage. |
| Age Limit | Maximum 35 years (relaxation of 5 years for women/SC/ST/OBC/differently abled as per the govt. of India Rules). |
Job/Position Description-
NIFTEM invites applications for the following position(s) purely on a contractual basis. Candidates possessing specialization and relevant experience particularly in the areas of Food Science, Food Safety, Ultra-processed foods (UPFs) policy making etc. are strongly encouraged to apply. The initial posting will be at MoFPI, Panchsheel Bhawan, New Delhi.
