Research Area:Remote Sensing and Data Analytics
Location:Center for Geospatial Analytics, Clark University, Worcester, MA
Eligibility/Qualification:Ph.D. in Earth System Science, Environmental Science, Geography, Atmospheric Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a directly related discipline is required. Proficiency in Python programming and data analytics is essential. Strong communication skills are a must.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge and experience in machine learning, geospatial data, remote sensing imagery, handling large datasets, and data visualization are advantageous.
Job Description:As a Postdoctoral Research Associate, you will collaborate on projects involving multi-spectral and synthetic aperture radar observations, machine learning models, and Foundation Models for multi-spectral satellite imagery. You will lead peer-reviewed publications and present findings at scientific meetings. This is a full-time position for a two-year term, subject to annual review.
