Postdoctoral Research Fellow – Chemistry: The Lukesh research group at Wake Forest University’s Department of Chemistry welcomes applications for a postdoctoral research position in organic chemistry/chemical biology.
- Designation: Postdoctoral Research Fellow
- Research Area: Organic chemistry/chemical biology with a focus on synthesizing small molecule donors (prodrugs) and reaction-based sensors for investigating the chemical biology and therapeutic utility of reactive sulfur and selenium species.
- Location: Winston Salem, NC
- Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in chemistry or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong background in multistep organic synthesis with willingness to utilize various analytical and biochemical methods and techniques.
- Prior experience in culturing human tissue samples and conducting cell functional assays is preferred but not mandatory.
