Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Biochemistry: The Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at The University of British Columbia is seeking a highly motivated, full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellow (PDF) to join the Foster Laboratory. The successful candidate will lead an effort to develop and apply new algorithms for analyzing proteomic data, particularly protein-protein interaction data generated by co-fractionation/mass spectrometry experiments. The position is expected to collaborate with other researchers in the laboratory to derive additional biological insight from other datasets.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Proteomics, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Strong scientific and technical background with excellent written/oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proven track record with a minimum of 2-3 first-author publications in reputable journals.
Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and applying new algorithms for analyzing proteomic data, particularly protein-protein interaction data generated by co-fractionation/mass spectrometry experiments. Additionally, the position is expected to collaborate with other researchers in the laboratory to derive additional biological insight from other datasets. Other responsibilities include leading independent efforts to push the limits of how protein-protein interaction data can be analyzed, participating in team science with other members of the lab, mentoring more junior scientists in the group, and communicating results via papers and presentations.
