About- Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) is a Statutory Organization under Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change entrusted with power and functions under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.

Eligibility/Qualification–
Scientist ‘B’
Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or Institution in Civil/Chemical/Environmental Engineering – 34 posts, Computer Science/Information Technology – 04 posts.
Preferential: Master’s Degree in Engineering / Technology
Or
Essential: Master’s Degree in Chemistry (All Branches) / Environmental Sciences from a recognized University or Institution – 24 posts.
Preferential: NET Qualified / Ph.D.
