Job Description: The selected Postdoctoral Researcher will be part of the Organismal and Evolutionary Biology Research Programme and will contribute to the research project focused on understanding the impact of light pollution on the European glow-worm. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and executing research to assess the responses of glow-worms to LED lights under different conditions
- Integrating behavioural, physiological, and genetic research to evaluate the impact of light conditions
- Conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting the results
- Collaborating with the research group and external partners
- Publishing research findings in scientific journals
- Presenting research at conferences and workshops
- Contributing to the development of future research directions
