Postdoctoral Researcher – Perovskites: A postdoctoral researcher position is available at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) focused on the development of high-efficiency perovskite-based tandem photovoltaics. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and international research team working on the fundamentals, novel materials, and processes for perovskite multijunction photovoltaics.
Designation: Postdoctoral Researcher
Research Area: Perovskite-based Tandem Photovoltaics
Location: Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany
Applicants must have a doctoral degree (PhD) in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or a related subject. The candidate must have a strong scientific background in perovskite optoelectronics, multijunction photovoltaics, and/or printed perovskite photovoltaics.
The postdoctoral researcher will work on the following subjects:
- Development of high-efficiency perovskite-based tandem solar cells
- Implementation of novel materials, light management concepts, and device architectures in perovskite multijunction solar modules and solar cells
- Engagement in international collaborations and projects.
Infrastructure and Team: The position will be part of the perovskite PV taskforce at KIT, which combines the expertise and equipment of several research groups. A broad fabrication and characterization platform will be accessible via the Light Technology Institute (LTI) and the Institute of Microstructure Technology (IMT).
