Location- Pune

Eligibility/Qualification–

Project Associate – I: M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic Chemistry)
B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% marks (aggregate)
Principal Project Associate: BE/B.Tech in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University with minimum of 55% marks and Eight Years experience in R&D in industrial and Academic institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services OR Doctoral Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university and 4 years’ experience in R&D in industrial and Academic institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.
Desirable experience, if any:
- MSc student: Hands on experience in organic synthesis, preferably with one year experience on organic synthesis
  BE/BTech: Good understanding of unit operations, reaction engineering and fluid dynamics
  Principal Project Associate: Experience in all the following domains: process development, process design, continuous flow synthesis, pilot plant design, hands on experience of analytical instrument viz. GC/HPLC, etc.
Age limit*: For Project Associate -I: 35* years | For Principal Project Associate: 40 years*

Job/Position Description-

Applications are invited on plain paper for filling up of two positions of Project Associates-I (PA-I) & one position of Principal Project Associate on a purely temporary basis, in the prescribed proforma. The detail of the Sponsored Project under which engagement is proposed to be made is as under:

Project Code No. : SSP299526 & MLP100926
Title of the Project: Industry Training on Continuous Flow Synthesis and To develop scale-up guidelines for continuous flow solvent free synthesis platforms using mechanochemistry.
Title of the Position: Project associate – I and Principal Project Associate
Job requirement: Synthesis of Agrochemical, Pharmaceutical ingredients and understanding solid-solid reactions.
Consolidated emoluments per month:
- PA-I:
  - i) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through a) National eligibility tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE
  - ii) Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above
- Principal Project Associate:
  - Rs. 49000/- per month (DST OM No.SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019, With reference to No.4/CMG/2020-TMDII rules dated 13.08.2019)
No. of positions to be filled up: PA-I : 2 positions, PPA: 1 Position
The engagement will be initially for a period of six months which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the tenure of sponsored project/ satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may be. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis and shall not be CSIR/NCL appointment, temporary or otherwise and shall not entitle the appointee to any right/claim whatsoever, implicit or explicit, for his/her consideration against any CSIR/NCL post/fellowship.
