Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, Punjab, India invites application for Project Postdoctoral Position from eligible and interested candidates
About- Applications are invited Postdoctoral Research Fellow from highly motivated candidates for a postdoctoral position in the Department of Physics, IIT Ropar. The position will be funded by IIT Ropar under the Institute postdoctoral fellowship programme.
The successful candidate will work on topics related to black holes, quantum field theory, supersymmetry and holography under the supervision of Rajesh Gupta. Candidate should have a strong research background on perturbative and non-perturbative aspects in field theory, AdS/CFT and black hole physics. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in the area of supersymmetric gauge theories in diverse dimensions, including various exact techniques such as supersymmetric localisation and superconformal index.

Eligibility/Qualification–
| Eligibility | B.Tech/M. Tech and PhDdegree in Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence/Electrical/Electronic Engineering (60% marks or CGPA of 6 and above). A candidate with an M.Tech degree, 3 years of professional experience, and at least one accepted research paper is eligible. |
| Age limit | Must not be more than 30 years from the closing date of application (relaxation as per the norms/ orders of GOI). |
| Desirable qualifications | Candidates with a strong background in programming skills, computer vision, natural language processing, deep learning, and machine learning are encouraged to apply.Research publication in conferences or journals, interest in developing software and research work.In case a Post-Doc position is not available, lower-level positions such as JRF (Junior Research Fellow), SRF (Senior Research Fellow), or Project Staff may be offered. |
