Research/Job Area-Â Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
Location- Mumbai
Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
PhD with one year post doctoral experience. PhD in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering with computational modeling/device modeling/TCAD expertise.
Expected skillset:
a) Device Physics b) TCAD modeling c) intuition on fabrication methods.
Job Profile:
- Conduct TCAD simulations on 2D device structures with various contacts and optimise for the darkcurrent profiles
- Understand avalanche multiplication processes for photodetection
- Close collaboration with experimental groups to match device characteristics and facilitatesymbiotic feedback with experimental results
- Development of softwares for the Prayog-QP for disseminating the results for a wider communityoutreach.

About the project: This position will involve intensive support and feedback with experimental progress on 2D material based quantum technologies. The work will be an intense TCAD modeling effort with detailed experimental benchmarking. Various 2D materials will be considered for the avalanche breakdown in various device configurations.
Pay Details: Consolidated Salary Rs. 56000 + HRA (as applicable) p.m.
