Qmet Tech, IIT Bombay Campus, Mumbai, India invites applications for QMET PARIMANA Post-Doctoral Fellowship from eligible and interested candidates

About- The QMET PARIMANA Fellowship Program is an initiative under the National Quantum Mission focused on human resource development in Quantum Technologies and Applications (QTA). This program aims to support motivated young researchers by encouraging innovative projects in quantum sensing and other advanced research areas. The fellowship will help groom researchers into independent scientists.

- Biomedical imaging & diagnostics
Technology Areas:
- Atomic clocks (cesium, optical, ion clocks)
- Atom interferometers, quantum gravimeters
- Quantum gyroscopes, accelerometers
- NV centers in diamonds
- Atomic sensors, squid-based sensors
- Optomechanical sensors, superconducting resonators
- Quantum enhanced sensing

Eligibility/Qualification–

Must hold a PhD degree from CFTIs or UGC/AICTE approved Indian universities/engineering institutes.
Less than 2 years of work experience post-PhD or Research Scholars who have submitted their PhD thesis (awaiting examination).
Relevant research experience in Quantum Technologies and applications with publications in reputed journals/conferences.
Preferably below 32 years of age.
Not currently receiving any other government fellowship.

Job/Position Description-

Conduct in-depth research in Quantum Technologies and Applications.
Prepare and submit project proposals in the prescribed format.
Contribute to publications and generate intellectual property.
Participate in workshops/conferences with prior approval for travel expenses.
Collaborate with mentor faculty and develop independent research capabilities.
