Quantum Computing Postdoctoral Fellow: Join Lawrence Berkeley National Lab’s (LBNL) Applied Mathematics and Computational Research Division as a Quantum Computing Postdoctoral Fellow. In this role, you will spearhead research focused on advancing programming models, software tools, error mitigation, and algorithms to enable quantum simulation for DOE science domains. Your contributions will involve the development of open-source software tools, primarily in Python, for optimal algorithm implementation on quantum computers. You’ll also be engaged in simulating physical hardware, publishing research findings, and contributing to conferences.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in chemistry, physics, applied mathematics, or a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience in quantum computing, related algorithm development, and software.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Strong collaborative and communication skills.
