Eligibility/Qualification–
i. RA‐I: Ph.D in Hydrology/ Water Resources Engineering or equivalent/ Meteorology/ Climatology. OR M.E./ M.Tech. in the aforesaid disciplines with 3 years of pertinent research experience. At least one good publication in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Desirable: Candidate having relevant research experience, particularly field experience and with additional relevant journal publications in the pertinent area will be preferred.
Note: Initial emolument may be fixed based on the qualification and experience of the candidate.
ii. JRF: B.Tech in Civil Engg./ Agricultural Engg. & M.Tech in Water Resources Engg./ Soil & Water Conservation Engg./ Land & Water Resources Engg./ Hydrology.
iii. SRF: Same as JRF with 2 years of experience.
Note: For JRF & SRF positions, GATE qualified candidates will be preferred.

Applications are invited on prescribed format for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the School of Infrastructure of this Institute.

processes: Droughts and Floods at Different Spatial and Temporal Scales in Eastern India”.
Name of the Sponsoring Agency : Department Science and Technology (DST)
Consolidated Emoluments :
i. RA‐I: Rs. 47,000/‐ per month + HRA @16%
ii. SRF: Rs. 35,000/‐ per month + HRA @16%
iii. JRF: Rs. 31,000/‐ per month + HRA @16%
Duration of appointment: From date of joining to end of project i.e. upto 31st March 2021
