Eligibility/Qualification–

Ph.D. in Mathematics/Computer Science/Atmospheric Science/ Agriculture with knowledge of Computer Simulation, Satellite Data, Weather, Land Model, Vegetation etc.

Age Limit: Not more than 30 years as on 30.03.2021.

Job/Position Description-

Title of the Project: “ Simulation and Land Data Assimilation to Community Land Model for Improving Rice Crop Dynamics “.

Principal Investigator: Dr. Ranjan Kumar Jana, Department of Applied Mathematics and Humanities, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat.

Duration of Project: one year (up to 31.03.2022) and may be extended subject to the approval from SAC(ISRO).

Fellowship: Rs. 50,000 per month (fixed)

Terms and conditions will be followed as per SAC (ISRO) guidelines and Institute (SVNIT) norms.

Date of Interview: 03.04.2021 (online through Google Meet)

*The position is temporary and is available initially for one year (up to 31.03.2022) and may be extended subject to the approval from SAC (ISRO).
