About- Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur, was established in 2013 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh as a non-affiliating, teaching and research University after reconstituting the Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College, Gorakhpur, which was established in 1962.

Eligibility/Qualification–

Assistant Professor (Engineering & Technology)

• B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in the relevant branch.
• First Class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
• Candidates with Ph.D. after Bachelor’s degree from Institutions of National Importance with GATE/GPAT/CEED are also eligible.

Associate Professor

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
• First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience.
• At least 6 research publications in SCI/SCIE/SSCI/SCOPUS indexed journals.
• Minimum 2 years post-Ph.D. experience.

Professor

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
• First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience.
• At least 3 years’ experience equivalent to Associate Professor level.
• Required research publications and Ph.D. guidance experience as per advertisement norms.

Mathematics & Economics

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant discipline.
• NET/SLET/SET qualification or Ph.D. as per UGC regulations.
• Additional eligibility criteria apply as specified in the official notification.

Job/Position Description- 

Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur, a State Government-funded technological university of Uttar Pradesh, has invited online applications for regular faculty positions in various departments. Eligible candidates can apply for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor posts through the university’s online recruitment portal.

In addition to basic pay, candidates will receive DA and other allowances as per Uttar Pradesh Government and University rules.
