Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Initiate and plan research projects.
- Direct small research teams.
- Conduct data analysis and write reports for research sponsors.
- Present research findings to colleagues and at conferences.
- Submit publications to refereed journals.
- Develop research collaborations within the College and the wider community.
- Promote the Group’s, Department’s, and College’s reputation.
- Provide guidance to PhD students.
- Maintain accurate records of experimental work.
- Participate in Group research meetings and internal seminars.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the Group’s laboratories.
- Assist in supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research students and research assistants.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Head of Group or Division/Department/Section.
