Eligibility/Qualification–
General Conditions:
- PhD from Indian Institutes/Universities ranked in NIRF top 50 (overall or subject), or PhD from a top 500 university abroad (QS/THE global ranking), or Institutions of National Importance.
- Proven research track record with at least two papers in Q1/Q2 or SCOPUS/Web of Science journals.
- Discipline-specific essential and desirable qualifications as listed in the table.
Project Description-
Banaras Hindu University (BHU), recognized as an Institution of Eminence by the Ministry of Education, is inviting applications for the prestigious Raja Jwala Prasad Post-Doctoral Fellowship. This is a one-year fellowship designed to support outstanding early-career researchers in various scientific and social science disciplines. The university offers access to cutting-edge research laboratories and advanced scientific equipment to facilitate high-quality research.

- Conduct independent research in the relevant department under the guidance of the assigned mentor.
- Collaborate on ongoing projects using advanced laboratory facilities and instruments.
- Publish research findings in reputed journals (Q1/Q2/SCOPUS/Web of Science).
- Prepare project reports, participate in departmental meetings, and contribute to the academic community of BHU.
- Fellowship tenure: 12 months (from date of joining).
- Fellowship amount: ₹60,000 per month + ₹10,000 HRA and ₹50,000 contingency per annum (pro-rata).
