Location – IISER Mohali
Eligibility/Qualification–
The candidate should have a PhD in biological sciences or allied sciences.
The candidate should have experience in mammalian cell culture (handling, maintaining, transfection, imaging, Western blot, immunocytochemistry), membrane trafficking, endocytosis, cytoskeletal dynamics, live-cell and fixed-cell confocal imaging, in-cell FRAP and FCS, time-resolved fluorescence/lifetime using TCSPC and fluorescence anisotropy measurements, liposome preparation from synthetic and natural lipids, and membrane biophysical studies.
The candidate should have at least one first or joint-first-author paper in a reputed journal.
The candidate with knowledge of protein phase separation assays will be preferred.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited for a Research Associate position in Prof. Samrat Mukhopadhyay’s lab at IISER Mohali
Job description: One RA position is to study the interaction between biological membranes and biomolecular condensates.
Duration: One year and extendable for another year, subject to satisfactory progress and availability of the project funds.
Emoluments: As per DST.
