Research Fellow – Neuroprotection in Ischemic Stroke: he Hatter Cardiovascular Institute at UCL invites applications for a postdoctoral Research Fellow position funded by the British Heart Foundation. This role focuses on investigating methods to protect the brain from injury during ischaemia-reperfusion injuries, particularly in the context of ischemic stroke. The project involves advancing research on the role of the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and testing a novel UCL-developed compound for its neuroprotective benefits using in vivo stroke models.
