About- Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, popularly known as CIMAP, is a frontier plant research laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Established originally as Central Indian Medicinal Plants Organisation (CIMPO) in 1959, CIMAP is steering multidisciplinary high quality research in biological and chemical sciences and extending technologies and services to the farmers and entrepreneurs of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs) with its research headquarter at Lucknow and Research Centres at Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pantnagar and Purara. Eligibility/Qualification–
Research Associate- Proiect Ph.D. (Awarded) in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Life Sciences.
Desirable Qualification:- Experience of working in basic Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Techniques with special emphasis on protein/gene expression in yeast/bacterium
Maximum Age- 40 Years
The upper age limit in as mentioned for the above positions will be as on date of Walk-in-Interview, which is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes/Persons with disabilities/ Women/ OBC.
Special age relaxation in case of widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands, who are not remarried as per rules.
Job/Position Description-
The eligible and interested candidates may appear in Walk-in-Interview on the respective date of Walk-in-Interview as detailed below for purely temporary engagement as Project Associate-I &II Project Assistant under Different ongoing Project of CSIR CIMAP, Lucknow.
Stipend per month– Rs. 47000/- +HRA As per Funding Agency
Date of Interview Reporting Time-
Date 15-12-2021- Time 9.30 AM to 11.30 AM
Engagement will be initially for a period of one year, and may be extended or curtailed depending upon the project requirement, and desired level performance or conduct of the incumbent, and availability of Funds from funding agencies as the case may be.
