Summary: The University of Malta is seeking Part-Time Research Support Officers to work on the TenSyGrid project, which is funded by the Clean Energy Transition Partnership 2023 of Xjenza Malta. The TenSyGrid project aims to develop innovative stability analysis methods for integrating 100% renewable energy systems while ensuring safe and stable operation of power grids. The successful candidates may also be required to work on other projects undertaken by the Department of Electrical Engineering.

- Knowledge in power system modeling and analysis is preferred
Job Description:
The Research Support Officers will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Integration of the TenSyGrid Toolbox into commercial software
- Development of mid-size and large-scale power network models
- Conducting technical feasibility studies towards 100% renewable energy penetration
- Producing project deliverables and related reports
- Assisting in the dissemination process through workshops/seminars
- Attending project meetings and conferences as required
- Undertaking any other tasks requested by the project coordinator
