Research/Job Area- Synthetic organic chemistry, Experimental materials chemistry, Physical chemistry and/or chemical engineering
Eligibility/Qualification- Eligible candidates should have a Ph.D. degree and experience in synthetic organic chemistry, experimental materials chemistry, physical chemistry and/or chemical engineering. Excellent communication skills in English, as well as marked enthusiasm for research and creativity, are mandatory. He/she should have substantial previous experiences in chemical synthesis and physicochemical characterization of functional molecular architectures and materials. In particular, experience with carbon based nanomaterials will be very positively evaluated. In addition, a multidisciplinary background is beneficial.
Job/Position Description- The Nano Carbons Materials group within the Advanced Materials for Sustainable Future Technologies Research Line at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) is seeking to appoint a postdoctoral position in developing novel sustainable nanomaterials.
The selected applicant will join an interdisciplinary research group coordinated by Dr. Giordani and Prof Pirri, and contribute to the design and development of nanomaterials for environmental applications.
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive package commensurate to qualifications and experience.
