About- Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University is inviting online applications from eligible candidates to fill various teaching positions for its Post Graduate Teaching Departments. The university is looking to recruit dedicated academicians for the roles of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor across multiple disciplines.

Eligibility/Qualification–

For Associate Professor (Pay Matrix INR 131,400 – 217,100):

A good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade).
A minimum of eight years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to an Assistant Professor.
A minimum of seven publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
A total research score of Seventy-five (75) as per University Direction No.17/2019.

For Assistant Professor (General Subjects – Pay Matrix INR 57,700 – 182,400):

A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SET.
Exemption: Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016 are exempted from NET/SET.

For Assistant Professor (Business Administration & Management):

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and Master’s Degree in Business Administration / PGDM / C.A. / ICWA / M.Com. with first class or equivalent.
Two years of professional experience after acquiring the Master’s Degree.

For Assistant Professor (Chemical Technology – Pulp & Paper Tech.):

B.E. / B.Tech. / B.S. and M.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in the relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.

- A complete list and reprints of published research papers.
- A declaration in ‘FORM A’ regarding the small family rule.
