Eligibility/Qualification–
- Candidates must possess the educational qualifications as per the post applied.
- Upper age limit for all positions is 50 years as on 27.10.2025.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates will be provided as per DST and GFR 2017 norms.
- Candidates must be willing to work full-time on the project; no part-time or parallel course enrollment is allowed.
Job/Position Description-
The Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) – School for Advanced Research in Petrochemicals (SARP-LARPM), Bhubaneswar invites applications from young and dynamic researchers for multiple project-based positions under the project titled “Circular Economy Solutions Preventing Marine Litter in Ecosystems”, sponsored by GIZ, New Delhi.
These positions are purely temporary and initially for one year, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in plastics recycling, circular economy, and environmental sustainability.

- Conduct research and development in polymer materials and recycling technologies.
- Support analytical, experimental, and field activities related to plastics waste processing.
- Assist in data collection, reporting, and documentation under the GIZ-sponsored project.
- Administrative and technical support as per assigned role (technical/administrative/field-based).
- Prepare research reports and maintain laboratory records.
- Contribute to sustainable solutions for marine litter prevention through innovation in polymer science and circular economy practices.
