Eligibility/Qualification

  • MSc in Artificial Intelligence, (Applied) Mathematics/Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong background in machine learning and computer vision; knowledge in robotics is a plus
  • Solid foundations in statistics, calculus, and linear algebra
  • Proficiency in programming, preferably in Python
  • Highly motivated, independent, and creative
  • Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills in English
  • Prior publications in relevant conferences or journals are advantageous

Job Description

  • Develop new deep learning, computer vision, and multimodal learning methods for embodied foundation models
  • Collaborate within the OpenBots Lab and contribute to demonstrators
  • Present research progress internally and at international conferences and workshops
  • Publish research in proceedings and journals
  • Assist in teaching activities, including lab assistance and student supervision
  • Complete and defend a PhD thesis within four years
