Eligibility / Qualification
Applicants must satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed under UGC Regulations, 2018 (and subsequent amendments).
Essential Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- An eminent scholar actively engaged in research.
- Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in a university/college or equivalent research experience.
- At least 10 research publications in peer-reviewed, Scopus, Web of Science, or UGC-CARE listed journals with the required research score.
- Evidence of academic leadership and successful completion of sponsored research projects.
Relaxation
- 5% relaxation in Master’s degree marks is available for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwBD candidates as per UGC norms.
Job Description
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students.
- Conducting high-quality research and publishing in reputed journals.
- Supervising research scholars and postgraduate dissertations.
- Securing sponsored research projects and consultancy assignments.
- Participating in curriculum development and academic administration.
- Contributing to departmental, university, and outreach activities.
Pay Scale
Academic Pay Level-14
Salary: ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200 per month (as per 7th CPC)
