Designation:

  • Graduate and Postgraduate Positions: Open for students with scholarships/prospective scholarships.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Graduate and Postgraduate: Students with scholarships and a strong background aligned with the lab.
  • MASc and PhD: Domestic applicants (PR, Canadian citizen) apply for scholarships like OGS and NSERC CGS. International applicants subject to available funding. Specify in the email subject: [AIRLab Domestic/International MASc/PhD candidate].
  • Postdoc: Completed PhD degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields by the starting date.

Job Description:
AIRLab is seeking talented individuals for various positions. The Postdoc position involves working on an international collaboration project focused on pHRI in caregiving settings. Successful candidates will contribute to pHRI studies, enhancing control and interaction between collaborative robots and end-users.

Requirements: Candidates interested in performing research projects with at least two of the following expertise are preferred:

  1. Knowledge of Linux-based systems (especially Ubuntu).
  2. Knowledge of Robotic Operating System (ROS/ROS 2).
  3. Programming skills (Python/C++ preferred).
  4. Knowledge of version control (git: GitHub, Gitlab).
  5. Basic knowledge of robotics (kinematic and dynamic modeling, control).
