About- CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIR-CSIO), a leading national R&D laboratory under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), is inviting applications for 17 Scientist vacancies across multiple advanced research areas. Selected scientists will contribute to innovative, interdisciplinary projects at CSIR-CSIO’s main campus in Chandigarh and its outreach centre in Chennai.

Eligibility/Qualification–
- Essential:
- Ph.D. in relevant subject area (as per individual post)
- OR M.E./M.Tech (or equivalent) with proven research credentials

- Age Limit:
- Varies by post and reservation category; age relaxation as per Government rules (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD, etc.)
Job/Position Description-
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Lead or contribute to national/international R&D projects
- Guide and mentor junior researchers
- Develop advanced scientific instruments and analytical technologies
- Publish high-impact research and support technology transfer
