Eligibility / Qualification

  • Education:
    Master’s degree, diploma, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Optics/Photonics, Physics, or a closely related field.
  • Language Proficiency:
    Ability to teach in German and/or English; willingness to acquire missing language skills.
  • Experience:
    At least one of the following:
  • Experimental work on microwave photonics/optical communication systems
  • Cleanroom nanofabrication
  • Numerical simulations (Python, Octave, Matlab, etc.)
  • Microwave engineering/antenna design (CST Microwave Studio, HFSS, etc.)
  • Photonic integrated circuits design, fabrication, and testing (CST Microwave Studio, COMSOL, etc.)
  • Analog integrated circuits design/testing (Keysight ADS, Cadence, etc.)

Job Description

  • Support teaching and practical laboratory courses.
  • Collaborate on current research projects, including laboratory/cleanroom work.
  • Conduct independent research in related fields under supervision.
  • Teaching duties are required.
