Eligibility / Qualification
- Education:
Master’s degree, diploma, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Optics/Photonics, Physics, or a closely related field. - Language Proficiency:
Ability to teach in German and/or English; willingness to acquire missing language skills. - Experience:
At least one of the following: - Experimental work on microwave photonics/optical communication systems
- Cleanroom nanofabrication
- Numerical simulations (Python, Octave, Matlab, etc.)
- Microwave engineering/antenna design (CST Microwave Studio, HFSS, etc.)
- Photonic integrated circuits design, fabrication, and testing (CST Microwave Studio, COMSOL, etc.)
- Analog integrated circuits design/testing (Keysight ADS, Cadence, etc.)
Job Description
- Support teaching and practical laboratory courses.
- Collaborate on current research projects, including laboratory/cleanroom work.
- Conduct independent research in related fields under supervision.
- Teaching duties are required.
