Job Description
The selected PhD student will work on advanced research projects within the Chalmers Security and Privacy Lab. Research areas include:
- Web application crawling and security scanning projects such as Black Widow, Black Ostrich, and Spider-Scents
- Security and privacy analysis of browser extensions through projects like FakeX and CodeX
- JavaScript server-side sandboxing using SandTrap
- Data minimization in Trigger-Action Platforms through minTAP and LazyTAP
- Emerging research in security and privacy for AI-integrated and agentic systems
The role also includes limited teaching and departmental responsibilities as part of doctoral training.
