Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Candidates with a strong background in optical metasurfaces, complex media, electromagnetic modeling, computer graphics and rendering, structural color, or nanofabrication are encouraged to apply.
  • Postdoctoral candidates should have a Ph.D. in a relevant field and a strong publication record.
  • PhD candidates should have a Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong motivation to contribute to the interdisciplinary project are essential.

Job Description:

  • Join the ERC project UNSEEN to explore the creation of novel visual effects and aesthetics through nanostructured metasurfaces.
  • Collaborate with experts in optical metasurfaces, complex media, electromagnetic modeling, computer graphics and rendering, structural color, and nanofabrication.
  • Conduct research on disordered metasurfaces composed of high-index nanoresonators.
  • Contribute to the interdisciplinary project aimed at designing unique visual appearances.
  • Engage in experimental and theoretical work to uncover the relationship between nanostructures and their visual effects.
  • Publish research findings and present results at conferences.
