- Program Description:RIKEN’s SPDR Program aims to cultivate independent researchers internationally by providing them the autonomy to pursue research aligned with RIKEN’s objectives.
- Research Fields:Openings available in fields such as Mathematical Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Medical Science, and Engineering related to RIKEN’s ongoing research.
- Number of Openings:Approximately 70 positions with potential changes based on budget considerations.
- Qualifications:Applicants must hold a PhD after January 1, 2019, be ready for independent research, and commence work in FY 2025.
- Contract Duration:Three years from the hiring date, with a monthly salary, benefits, and a research budget of 1,000,000 yen per year.

Job Description:
- Conduct autonomous and independent research
