CIRES/ESIIL Post-Doctoral Scholar: The Environmental Data Science Innovation and Inclusion Lab (ESIIL) at CIRES, University of Colorado Boulder, is seeking four Post-Doctoral Research Scholars specializing in environmental data science (EDS) to tackle urgent environmental issues. CIRES/ ESIIL Post-Doctoral Research Scholar (Environmental Data Science)

Location: Boulder, Colorado
Eligibility/Qualification: Ph.D. in environmental, biological, social, computer science, or data science field. Candidates must have proficiency in open-source programming languages, commitment to open science, effective project management skills, knowledge of ethical research practices, and a collaborative spirit.
Job Description:
- Develop and execute EDS projects utilizing open data, tools, and cyberinfrastructure to address environmental biology research questions.
- Utilize open spatial and temporal data creatively for research projects.
- Collaborate with the ESIIL team and network to advance EDS projects.
- Contribute to open, reproducible science and education objectives.
- Share research results through publications and presentations.
- Actively participate in the ESIIL community and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
