Job Description
The PhD project involves:
- Developing bespoke algorithms for optimising chemical processes in flow chemistry.
- Comparing design-of-experiments with self-optimising methods for efficiency.
- Iteratively improving algorithm choice to optimise cost, product yield, and sustainability.
- Generating process models for a range of organic materials.
- Collaborating with other students and benefiting from a tailored training programme.
- Training and research will be conducted at the Materials Innovation Factory (MIF).
