Eligibility/Qualification
- MSc in Artificial Intelligence, (Applied) Mathematics/Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong background in machine learning and computer vision; knowledge in robotics is a plus
- Solid foundations in statistics, calculus, and linear algebra
- Proficiency in programming, preferably in Python
- Highly motivated, independent, and creative
- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills in English
- Prior publications in relevant conferences or journals are advantageous
Job Description
- Develop new deep learning, computer vision, and multimodal learning methods for embodied foundation models
- Collaborate within the OpenBots Lab and contribute to demonstrators
- Present research progress internally and at international conferences and workshops
- Publish research in proceedings and journals
- Assist in teaching activities, including lab assistance and student supervision
- Complete and defend a PhD thesis within four years
