Eligibility/Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy.
- Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field with competitive academic marks.
- Strong background in organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry, and/or chemical biology is highly recommended.
Job Description
The successful candidates will:
- Synthesize new drug candidates and conjugate them with tumor-targeting molecules such as peptides and antibodies.
- Conduct in vitro and in vivo biological evaluations of these compounds.
- Enroll in the Organic Chemistry Doctoral Program at the University of Barcelona.
- Receive comprehensive training in organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry, spectroscopy techniques, and chemical biology.
- Gain access to state-of-the-art scientific equipment and facilities at the University of Barcelona and the Institute of Biomedicine of the University of Barcelona (IBUB).
