- Eligibility/Qualification:

- Exemplary knowledge of data analysis, network science or statistical modeling, and programming in Python or a similar language.
- Familiarity with infectious disease epidemiology.
- Ability to work independently and lead a research project from the ground up.
- Research Area: The successful candidate will study the spread of contagion on networks through focus areas including dynamical models, Bayesian Inference, higher-order network structure, and software development.
- Job Description: The position will involve developing realistic models for the spread of diseases and ideology on networks, reconstructing networks and disease dynamics from observational data, developing higher-order measures sensible for the spread of diseases and information, as well as scientific Python software development to support research and facilitate the dissemination of results. The candidate will also have considerable freedom to tackle any related topics of interest.
