Eligibility/Qualification–
- PhD or M. Pharm/M.Tech (having 3 years of research/industrial experience with at least one research paper in SCI journal) preferably in Pharmacology/Pharmaceutics/Pharmaceutical Biotechnology) with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PH)
- GATE/GPAT (M. Pharm/M. Tech candidates) qualified or any National entrance test exam conducted by any central Govt. department is desirable.
- Preference will be given to the candidates with industrial/research experience or candidates having work experience in cancer research, drug development, in-vitro mammalian cell culture, in-vivo animal models, molecular Biology techniques (western blot/ELISA/RT-PCR) will be preferred.
Job/ Position Description-
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Research Associate in the DBT Research Project entitled “Biovalorization of Lignin – To develop and evaluate the performance of lignin-derived nanomaterials” under the supervision of Dr. Sandip V. Pawar, Assistant Professor, University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Fellowship:
The Monthly emoluments of the fellowship shall be (58000/pm + 18%HRA), as admissible under the applicable rules. The fellowship shall be tenable for a period of eight months only and shall remain strictly limited to the prescribed tenure.
Selection process:
Eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview in the office of Chairperson, UIPS, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
