Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or Parasitology
  • Expertise in cell cycle biology and/or parasitology

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in P. falciparum research
  • Expertise in omics techniques such as RNA-seq and phosphoproteomics
  • Familiarity with bioinformatics and data analysis

Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Researcher will lead groundbreaking studies on Plasmodium falciparum, exploring the parasite’s cell cycle through innovative omics approaches, including single-cell transcriptomics, proteomics, and reverse genetics. Key responsibilities include:

  • Examining cell cycle regulation during schizogony and gametogenesis
  • Integrating multi-omics data to deepen understanding of parasite biology
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams on malaria biology research
  • Mentoring graduate and undergraduate students in lab techniques and data analysis
