Research Area

Description
The selected PhD student will engage in the NANORESCAN project, aimed at developing nanoparticles loaded with active ingredients to treat HNSCC tumors resistant to conventional therapies. Responsibilities include:
- Performing organic syntheses (monomers, polymers).
- Characterizing the synthesized molecules and produced nanoparticles.
- Investigating the kinetics of release of active ingredients in biological simulations.
- Participating in international collaboration within a European consortium.
The doctoral student will have opportunities for short stays in partner laboratories, particularly in Barcelona, for further research.
