Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in relevant fields (Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Forestry Sciences, Educational Sciences, Applied Psychology, etc.)
- Proven experience in quantitative or qualitative research methodologies.
- Skills in software or hardware development related to gamified or immersive environments are advantageous.
- Interest in ecology, nature, and sustainability topics.
Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Research Fellows will engage in a variety of research paths concerning the interplay between human, nature, and technology. The specific areas of research include:
- GamiLIDAR: Development of gamified AR applications for data collection in forestry.
- Consumer Experience in VR: Investigation of consumer behavior in virtual environments with an emphasis on sustainability.
- Gamified Sustainable Decision Making: Creating tools for sustainable forestry decision-making through gamification.
- Gameful Human-Nature Interaction: Designing applications that foster a connection with nature using digital technologies.
Candidates will be responsible for:
- Designing and conducting experiments.
- Analyzing and publishing research findings.
- Participating in project-wide funding acquisition.
- Engaging in teaching and supervision, based on interests.
