Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD degree or equivalent in Biology, Biotechnology, Computational Sciences, Biomedicine, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or related disciplines.
- Interest in training in next-generation human model systems and electrophysiology.
- Prior experience with culturing human iPSC-derived models and electrophysiology (MEA) is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.
Description
The postdoctoral researcher will work on optimizing cultures of human neurons obtained via transcription factor-mediated reprogramming. Responsibilities include functional characterization using MEA, optical imaging, single-nucleus RNA sequencing, and data analysis. The position also involves supervising students and participating in teaching activities.
